Marlborough Parents Centre

When you attend a Child Birth Education class with the Marlborough Parents Centre the parents attending the class with you will form your ‘Coffee Group.’  Coffee groups are a great support network from which long lasting friendships will often develop.

Marlborough Parents Centre will organise your first ‘Coffee Group’ date.  After this first coffee date you and your coffee group will continue to meet where, when and how often your group deems appropriate.   It’s up to you!

Some coffee groups meet weekly, others meet monthly.  Many coffee groups meet at baby friendly cafes, while others will meet at a different parent’s home each date.  How your coffee group is run is up to you but be reassured that your coffee group will become an important support network for you not only in the early weeks and months but as a way to benchmark your child’s progress as he or she reaches each childhood milestone.

Our CBE classes do fill up quickly, but don't worry if you miss out on a CBE class you can still hook into one of our Coffee Groups when you join the Baby and You Course.
