Marlborough Parents Centre Parent and Child Expo 2011
Exhibitor Terms and Conditions
Application
• All exhibitors must complete the attached form and submit with payment by 29 April 2011. Early bird registrations close on Friday 3 December 2010.
• Only applications submitted with payment will be considered by the Committee.
• The Committee reserves the right to decline applications, and a full refund will be made.
• Exhibitors may not advertise or promote other parties that may conflict with the Parents Centre and 2011 MPC Parent and Child Expo Primary Sponsors.
Cancellation
• The booking fee is non-refundable after 29 April unless the stand can be resold by MPC.
Hours
• The Expo will open at 10am and close at 4pm, 12 June 2011.
Venue
• Marlborough Convention Centre, Alfred Street, Blenheim.
• Should an exhibitor cause any damage to the venue, they shall be financially responsible.
Stand details
• Allocation of stands is at the complete discretion of the Committee. A floor plan will be issued to exhibitors mid May.
• Site size will be at least 2.5m wide, with a 2m depth. Exhibitors are not to overhang, or hinder adjacent sites, or extend into space used for public walkways.
• Sites may include one 1.8m trestle table, covered with white linen, which must be requested upon registration.
• Exhibitors cannot fix anything to the walls.
• There are a limited number of power sites available. Exhibitors must indicate if they would like power at their site, and must provide own certified leads. The committee cannot guarantee power at all sites.
• FOOD or RAFFLE TICKETS may not be sold by any of the Exhibitors, without the written consent of the Committee.
• Tickets for the purchasers prize draw will be supplied by MPC to be distributed to all purchasers by exhibitors.
Set-Up
• Final exhibition and set up details will be advised in early June (with floor plan and site allocation).
• Stands must be complete and ready to meet visitors by 9:45am on the day of the Expo and must not be packed down before 4pm.
Health & Safety
• Exhibitors must agree to abide by all Health & Safety requirements applicable to the venue.
• This event is entirely Smokefree.
Security
• Exhibitors are responsible for their own security, including that of any cash. Marlborough Parents Centre will not be held liable for any losses.
Rubbish
• All exhibitors must maintain their site in a clean and tidy manner, and take away all rubbish generated at, or by their site.

Goodie Bag Terms and Conditions
Application
• All advertisers must complete the attached form and submit with payment by 4 March 2011. Only applications submitted with payment will be considered by the Committee.
• The Committee reserves the right to decline applications or samples deemed unsuitable. A full refund will be made.
• Goodie Bag Advertisers may not advertise or promote other parties that may conflict with the Parents Centre or MPC Parent and Child Expo Primary Sponsors.

• The booking fee is non-refundable after 4 March unless the advertising space can be resold by MPC.
Hours
• The expo will open at 10am and close at 4pm.
• Goodie Bags will be given to the first 1000 paying adults through the doors. 1 bag per adult.

• Marlborough Convention Centre, Alfred Street, Blenheim.
Advertising details
• 1000 product samples or discount vouchers are to be supplied. Any sample supplied must be in useable condition in June 2011 (ie not outside expiry date).
• These may be accompanied by 1 A4 sheet (flat or folded) of advertising. For advertising outside these dimensions please contact Mel

. Enough copies for each goodie bag will need to be supplied.
• The samples and advertising must be sent to Mel Hewer, Marlborough Parents Centre, 30 Wither Road, Blenheim 7201 and be received no later than 30 March 2011.
Security
• MPC will not be held responsible for the loss of any materials.
