The Marlborough Parents Centre is part of a national volunteer organisation of over 50 centres throughout New Zealand.  We are run locally by parents and have been in Marlborough for over 30 years. 

The Marlborough Parents Centre offers a wide range of courses starting with the ever popular Child Birth Education classes, through to Baby and You, Moving and Munching as well as Positive Parenting courses.  If you have a child aged 0-6 years old then we can offer you fun and relevant courses, peer support or networking and a huge information base that can help you in any area of parenting.

So how can we help you?

Starting out:

We start our courses with an Early Pregnancy course for families looking to conceive or for parents up to 20 weeks pregnant. These courses cover all areas of pregnancy from conception through to choosing a Lead Maternity Caregiver (LMC).

Getting ready for child birth:

Child Birth Education classes start around the 24th week of pregnancy and help to prepare parents for a positive birth experience.

Your baby:

Baby and You, along with Moving and Munching are courses that are hugely popular.

Baby and You is a course that follows on from the Child Birth Education classes, but you do not have to attended our CBE class to join a Baby and You class.  The classes start when baby is approximately 4-10 weeks old and run for 6 weeks.  These courses are a great way to find out what to do next, once having a baby. 

Your toddler:

Positive Parenting are a range of courses on a wide variety of topics.
